Nutritional Yeast "Cheese" sauce
mock cheese sauce
1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup water
2 tsp. oil
1 1/2 tsp. dijon mustard
1 1/2 tsp. tamari or braggs
In a small saucepan on high heat, whisk together all ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to simmer for 2-4 minutes. Stirring occasionally. Makes approx 1 1/2 cups.
